Easy Makeup While In A Rush

Every week I have a travel makeup bag that I take with me everywhere because I don't always have time to finish my look. That being said here is what I'm obsessed with for the week and what products you should try as well.

I have a problem with time and I'd like to think I have it under control but I am wrong. Everyday I get up 3 hours before I'm scheduled to work and I'm not sure why, but I can never quite finish my makeup. I am usually about 3 minutes early or 3 minutes beautifully late. Late to me means that I better arrive looking gorgeous and more than often than not I do. Now that I have a travel bag -thanks to the Ipsy subscriptions- I would actually consider this one of my primary makeup bags. Can you believe people actually have makeup bags that small... but who am I to judge? I'm a makeup hoarder. currently in rehab who will still occasionally buy, buy, buy and wear a few times.

Drum roll please.........-!-!-!-!-!..
what's in my bag

  • NYX Concealer Brush
  • Victoria's Secret Bombshell Bronze discontinued
  • MAC Cosmetics Mineral Pressed Powder
  • Elf Cosmetics Complete Coverage Concealer
  • Wet N' Wild Megalength Mascara
  • Rimmel London Scandeleyes Kohl Eyeliner
  • Anastasia Beverly Hills
  • Eco Tools Angle Brush
  • La Femme Couture Illuminating Powder discontinued

With these products, I created the perfect bombshell, shimmer glow using shimmery finishes of the mini makeup palette made by Victoria's Secret -before they discontinued the makeup- and bronzer by MAC Cosmetics.

Conceal and Highlight
Concealing under eyes and the bridge of my nose with the 2nd to lightest color from the E.l.f. Cosmetics concealer palette
Set concealer with La Femme Couture illuminating powder
Finish face prep by dusting my entire face, jawline and neck with MAC's pressed powder
Applied bronzer to the hollows of cheek while blending slightly into the apples of my checks

Filled in eyebrows with Anastasia of Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade
Defined the shape and clean under the arch with the 2nd to lightest concealer color from the Elf Cosmetics concealer palette.

Applied a gold shimmer tone to the entire lid and a white shimmer to the inner corners of the eye. Towards the lower and outer corner of the eyes added the blue shimmer and winged it out for a pop of color and dramatization.
Adding a little definition and shape to the eyes, I added Rimmel London's waterproof kohl eyeliner in black to the top waterline and inner corners of each eye.
Applied an unspeakable amount of Wet N' Wild lengthening mascara to the top eyelashes to build while slightly pushing down on the tip of the eyelashes with the mascara wand to create a curl in my lashes
*Optional Mist face with a finishing spray but because this look is all about the shimmery glow, I'd simply let the makeup settle especially since this is Florida and it is HOT!

All done!!! Time for a selfie;_)
